PHILLY YOUNG GUNS SHOOTOUT @ Haverford College

The Philly Young Guns Shootout is designed for rising high school freshmen and sophomores to gain exposure to college level teaching and player development AND play games in a tournament atmosphere with their high school teammates. There will be two days of teaching, followed by two days of tournament play, with film breakdown of individual team sessions and tournament games. There will be an additional Strength and Condidtioning element as the players will be trained and instructed by Haverford College Strength Coach, Cory Walts. Our aim is to work with the coaches in an environment targeted at developing their young players and building their program from within.

Director Michael Murphy of Haverford College has vast experience with coaching and developing top athletes at all levels. He, along with the Haverford College coaching staff, are committed to providing a summer experience that will directly benefit these young athletes.

This concept has received enthusiastic support from coaches and players alike. The Philly Young Guns Shootout will provide an opportunity your young players and program will not receive anywhere else.
